Predefined apartments

In Configuration section on the main menu there is this option ...can any body tell what it does.....Predefined apartments combinations:

This is used only when inserting or modifying a reservation to get a predefined list of apartments, instead of inserting the list by hand. Using assignment rule 2 and eventually extra costs with incompatible apartments you should not need inserting apartment lists when inserting a reservation.
