Rates question

Hi,

just started using this excellent piece of software. I have a couple of basic questions I wondered if someone could help with.

We have a small guest house on our property and are thinking of renting it out for some of the year. We are not sure about what rates to charge at the minute and we would just like customers to be able to query the availability without any pricing showing.

Can someone advise where I can prevent the prices displaying - I can see it must be somewhere in availability_tpl.php

All we require is a 'Price on Application' notice.

Is it possible to do a 'long weekend' rate e.g. Friday - Monday or to have a long weekend rate where you can choose which days go in it ?

I also noted an old post on the next question - is it possible to have different colours in the calendar for different rates ? E.g. a different colour for friends booking as opposed to customers ?

You could leave the rate price to 0 and specify it in the page, or if you just want to display availability use the availability calendar template. You can apply discounts (or charges) on week days with extra costs. Colors in the table show only confirmation and payment status.
