Hi all,
We've been using php-residence very successfully for nearly 3 years now - it's a fantastic piece of software.
Due to it "just working" we've fallen far behind on upgrades - in fact we've been using version 0.55 (gulp!)
Unfortunately, when I tried to upgrade to the current version - I've broken it! Aaargh!
This was my procedure:
1) Backup using internal system.
2) Delete (after backup) everything except "Dati" folder from php-residence subfolder.
3) Copy new files (except /Dati) into the subfolder.
4) Log in.
At stage 4 it tells me it needs to upgrade the DB, to which I click update.
I then get a page full of errors relating to line 1266 in aggiorna.php
Sooooooo.... I reverse all of the above, and copy all of my backed up files from stage (2) above.
But now I get the same message about upgrading the DB, but when I select upgrade it tells me there is nothing to upgrade and kicks me back out.
Help!!
Broken php-residence :-(

To restore the old database you should make a fresh install of version 0.5.5 and then restore it. If the errors during upgrade were only for line 1266 you should have been able to continue with the new version without problems, only the old contracts may have been lost and had to be nserted again.
