Update to 1.01 - no update button

I broke the rule and made an update before drinking the first cup of coffee .

I made a backup, then deleted all files except the folder dati. Then uploaded the new version (except the folder dati). When I tried to login I had several errors (fatal exception), so I deleted the new files and uploaded the old ones from the backup. Then the system told me that the database has to be updated (damn) but there was no button. I deleted again the old files and uploaded the new ones. No I can login again, but I got no message to update the database .

Can I fix that in any way or was the update made automatically ?

You can make a fresh install of the old version and then restore the backup. If you want send me the old backup so I see what the problem may have been.

Thanks marco, thats what I finally did --> fresh install of the old version --> restored backup --> update to 1.01 --> works fine
