Checking availability and booking a specific apartment

I am looking at Php-Residence to use on our website for booking Holiday Apartments. Is it posible to check the availability of a selected apartment and then book it rather than allowing the program to choose which apartment to choose based on the priority? I can see I can give each apartment a seperate price but this is too restricting and in my case we will have several apartments with the same price.

Where do you need to che availability (internet template, main menu)? As you say the only way is to use a separate rate for each apartment. This doesn't prevent you from having another rate that contains all the similar apartments with rule 2. Then when you create the internet template you select only the rates with 1 apartment.
