How do you insert the code? Maybe you can use an iframe instead of mixing the code.

I'm facing exactly the same problem.
I would like to have availability_template.php inserted into Joomla as a module, and i used Jumi for that, but when i click on any button all i get is index.php of Joomla.
Any solution?

Try editing the availability template by hand and set the variable $var_page_name.
