Hi,
I have to start by saying a big thank you again - I really like your system and it works very well.
Background to my question: we work the system on daily rates (which we input as a seventh of the total weekly rate).
However sometimes someone might want to stay 3 days and we will strike a deal with them for the package of 3 days. Is there any way that we can just force a total price for the stay into the system.
Thanks in advance.
Roger
Can you over-ride rates?

Hello Roger,
you can use extra costs to automatically apply discounts based on the number of days. More details here:

Also you can set a discount for a single reservation when you insert or modify it.

Marco,
Thanks for pointing me towards those extra costs page. It seems that you have put a lot of work into making these extra costs very flexible and able to cope with most eventualities.
What I did was this - if I wanted to charge Euro 350 for a 3-day stay: I set up a rate "GetZero" of Euro 10 per day (as it doesn't seem to allow a rate of zero). I then applied an "extra cost" of -10 Euro per day which is automatically activated when you use the rate "GetZero". Then I applied a discount to the booking of -350. Of course it may make more sense to have a daily rate of Euro 120 and apply a discount of 10 (or equally have a daily rate of 100 and apply a discount of -50). These solutions work fine for me - perhaps you have a better way.
Thanks again,
Roger
