associate apartment type to rate

Hi,

1) We need to associate apartment types to rates as we are settings this up for a hotel that has various room types and each type has a different rate. When a user selects the apartment type the associated rate should be used by the system and calculate the appropriate total cost.

2) Similarly there are different rates for single occupancy and double occupancy. So for room A with one person, cost IS$120, with two people total cost is $ 210. Then every additional person is $45. As with the item 1) above, when the user enters the number of people the cost should be calculated automatically.

I cannot figure out a way to achieve this with the combinations of extra costs and rules that exists. If code changes to scripts may be required can you point out which scripts we should change.
