Confirming a reservation....

Hello all. Hope I didn't miss this in the forum somewhere.

Would someone explain what setting the confirm reservation switch does if other than just setting a visual indicator.

I suppose one uses his own internal business rules to determine when to confirm a reservation and set the confirm reservation switch.

For now it's just a visual indicator, in future versions it may be used to report that there are unconfirmed reservations when checking availability in a full period.
