general availability

hello everyone,

i was wondering how to make this possible with that already very complete script: closing or opening availability by type of room. i mean let's say you have 22 single rooms and 12 double and you want to make them all unavailable for certain dates. i understand that the system, to determine room type, use rate type, but is it then possible to make a certain rate unavailable for a certain period. i haven't found how but i may have missed something.

heres how we do this..
If I understood your question correctly!!
Create a customer called, deuce hotel, and insert a reservation for that customer..
For each room we just add another type and then select the period and room for each type.....
That block of rooms is then shown as being reserved on the calander....

i haven't thought like creating a client as an full hotel

it's tricky but smart even if may have to change something in the code here to display for instance check boxes for each room to mark availability or not

I will add in the todo list that if a period has a negative price it will be considered as blocked.
