Direct visibility of reservation

I am using php-r for 6 months now. People seem to be willing to use this since I am getting real reservation requests via the software.

I am getting questions why the reservation request is not directly visible in the reservation overview? Customers think that the reservation has not worked and send a new request.

Anyone has experience in directly accepting reservation requests?

I am not sure if I understand you. Do you mean that you want a reservation confirmation to appear on the next screen?

In my case the next screen says

"Request for reservation sent from f@fd.com.

A copy of the request has been sent to f@fd.com"

Is there a wording you think would work better?

What I mean is that a customer can directly see that the reservation is made and that the requested room is not anymore available.

I get sometimes multiple requests for the same room because the customer thinks nothing has happened despite a mail being sent.

It must be alzheimer's on my part, but for the life of me I can't figure out what the page you want would look like! Should it have balloons and firworks and "you've requested a reservation" in big letters?

I don't mean to sound sarcastic, but could you please help me understand?

Thanks

Jim

To get the reservation actually inserted without your approval you need to use the "instant booking template", available on DigitalDruid.Net hosting or as an add-on module.

Hi,

This is mine solution for this problem
• Open availability template
• Ask for the number of people set this to NO
• Make Custom form fields for: Adults, children or how many people set this to needed

That’s al you have to do!
