Marco, i take my hat off to you! I amazed that an extra cost "Children under 16(Free)" set up using ASK is automatically added into the number of people just by including the add extra bed function. Very clever!

Now, my problem with this is that there doesn't seem to be any way to limit the total number of people in the room. I need to use the extra bed function on the extra person cost to trigger the extra person charge over two people. And because the room is then set up for a max of two people, the children cost has to have the extra bed function as well. Any ideas?

If I understand correctly your problem you could ask the number of people including children, then ask the number of children with an extra cost with negative value (discount), without considering it as extra beds.

The negatively priced children works fine, with the exception that if we have a single adult travelling with a child, they get a discount of $10 off the regular rate. The key of course, is that extra people are extra beds, while children are not.

Maybe they deserve it for being brave enough to travel alone with the kids! I only hope it happens enough to be a problem.
