Under "Customizations of user xxx."

Year 2008 preferences show for some users and don't show for others. Why? Where can it be changed?

Year 2008 is definitely enabled for all users, triple checked it...

Maybe for the problems you had creating the new year the files were not created, try disabling and enabling again the year for those users. Anyway you should upgrade to latest version as there were some bugs in 0.6.4.
