let's say that we need to register booking until january 2009. so i add months until 2009 and i duplicate my summer/winter rates into the price list. but what will happen the first january 2008? 2010 will be added? or nothing will happen?

When a new year is automatically created no new months are added (only the existing ones in the privious year are imported), so you still need to add 2010 manually and then insert the rates.

i've had month until january first 2009. as i have summer and winter rates for 2007 i wanted to duplicate those rates for the all year 2008 but the calendar is still blocked to january first 2008. besite that, in the rate poage (table view, i have one block for all year 2008 but no possibilty to divide that year into summer and winter rates.

is this normal or did i make a mistake?

You have to insert the new prices from "insert and modify prices" page, from there you can insert as many periods as you need.
