Hello,

Is there a way to show the rate type list from the reservation form first empty so the customer has to select one of the existing rate and also make this selection list mandatory.
I have 3 rates types: week, nights and week end. By default week rate is showing first so the user does not bother about changing even if its real choice is a week end. I would like to force the customer to make this selection rather than just leave the default type rate showing first in the list.

You could use javascript in the second part of the html (after the form) to add an empty optiion and select it. But my advice is to use one rate and extra costs to add week-end discounts, so the user doesn't have to select anything.
