Provision for waiting list in case of overbooking

Is there any way to waitlist bookings (over booking) if all the rooms are already booked on a particular day. The wait listed bookings could be confirmed later on when other bookings are cancelled.

No it's not possible. Let me know if you have a more precise idea of how this should be implemented.

Add a new room type, Waitlist with three fictitious rooms assigned in order as room 101, 102, 103

Make ghost rooms and make a rule to add the reservation there once everything is full.
This might screw your stats though
