Allow for AM/PM checkouts

Hi Marco,
I've just discovered HotelDruid and am just getting my head around how it works, although impressed so far.
I'm planning on using the software for a cattery but I have a question.
The business currently offers customers the option to check-in in the morning or evening, and check-out in the morning, or in the evening (which incurs a further days charge).
Would this be possible in HotelDruid, as when i had a quick play around, reservations seemed to overlap (reservations for AM check-in allowed for rooms currently occupied by guests checking out in the evening).
Obviously, this wouldn't be good as need to clean between guests, as well as the problem of more guests than rooms.
Any help or advice would be much appreciated.
