Additional Costs based on Payment Type

We currently allow guests to pay by Bank Transfer or Paypal.
If Paypal is selected we manually send paypal requests and charge them an extra 4% to cover Paypal's admin fees.
(with their prior implicit consent. We make it very clear this will happen when they select the payment type)

I'd now like to start using the paypal module as part of DigitalDruids hosting package.

I've created "4% Paypal Fee" as an extra cost but can't see a way of automatically adding this into the amount charged if the client selects to pay by paypal. ( I'd rather not allow them to select it as an optional extra !)

Can you advise if what I want to do, automatically, is possible ?

I thjink you would be using the availability template and then send them to the instant booking template if they want to use paypal. So you could add a 4% extra cost assigned automatically to the rates in the templates, but enable it (when templates are created) only in the instant booking template.
