Children (Rates)

When I set up my rate, I followed the method suggested on the board for adding a cost for the 3rd and fourth person, and then deducting $10 for each child using a separate checkbox where the guest 'declares' their children, in order to make the children free. This has worked well, and I've been following the principle that when one adult has three children and gets an extra $10 off it's not a big deal and I only hope it happens enough that it's a problem.
But I now have people putting in extra kids and claiming three and four kids and $40 off per night - does anybody know of a way to control this by only deducting when there has been a charge for additional people?

Thanks

Jim

Hi,

I am going a different way concerning the cost for childrens. First I ask the number of adults then I asked the number of infants and children (extra cost). Example:
Infants 3yrs & under $0
Children 4 - 13 years $20

This works very well for me.
