Expire dte for inventory items

I am there any plugin or function to add expiry date for inventory items. Im trying to include my kickten to the system. So when a guest order a meal inventory will be updated reducing the potions of items that is used to prepare the meal. When stocking up the kitchen goods, system will notify the goods that are going to expire
