HTML Document usage

Post by skEtcher »

I tried posting this question on another member's topic dealing with the use of the documents - and specifically the HTML document I'm still not sure how the HTML document can be used, even after reading through the documentation.

Is there a way for the HTML document, I've created, to show after the person submits their reservation information online?

In short, how do you use/send (via e-mail) the HTML document?

If you make the availability template send a php-residence message (not email), from the messages page you can select the document to reply to the reservation request, and send it if it's in email format (you set the document format from the page where you modify the document).

Thanks for the reply, Marco ...

I've read, and re-read your instructions, but I still have no clue how to display the HTML document ... I have document_5 saved as and HTML document (not email or RTF) and it's name is "html".

I've gone into the availability template and don't see any place to either SEND the message or document to reply to the reservation request. What line am I looking for in the Availability Template to make this happen?

The only place I see to SEND and EMAIL is from the MESSAGEs page.

Any additional help you could provide would be very helpful.

Thanks,
Thomas

Hello Thomas,
The email can be sent only in plain text (and from the messages page it's where you should send it from). The html document can be used to create reports and similar (php-residence can be used for on-line booking too, but it's mainly a management software).
