bootstrap3 availability page

Post by clayton256 »

Hi,

I've been playing around with hoteldruid for awhile now and really really like it! I'm a huge fan! Thanks, Marco and team for all your work!

I have built a website using bootstrap 3 for the campground my wife and I are buying. I would like to connect this up to a hoteldruid installation I have running. I generated an availability page to use as reference but I don't know Italian - yikes! I'm an okay php/html/js/css guy so I should be able to do this. It would help if there is an API to the core. Is there an API or any design documentation on the core?

Also, I'd love to hear of anyone else using hoteldruid for their campground. Maybe we could compare notes?

Thanks!
Mark Clayton

Wow, 34 views to this post! But sadly, no replies...

Anyhow, I will reply to my own post. I dove into the code a tried to understand what was going on in availability_tpl.php. After many, many hours and many false leads I began to put together enough of the database schema to hack up my own php code to accomplish what I wanted. I have uploaded the beginnings of a self standing demo to github.

If you decide to try it out, please let me know how you make out. I am happy to help out if you are having trouble. If you like the start of this code, please feel free to report bug and/or, if you can, fix something or add something, and let me know about it. You can find the code here:

Enjoy!

Thanks!

huh. i've been working on porting websites to boostrap3.

our hotel druid is not one of them; however, and druid site itself is hosted version, rather than our own server.

when i have a few spare minutes, i'd like to take a look at what you have done. thank you for sharing.
