export/import settings

Hi,
I wondering if it would be possible to add a function where you can export and import settings.
For instance a users customizations and a users priveleges.
That way if you have another user that you would like to have same settings. You can simply import it.
Or if you have another PHP-Residence setup, for instance a test site and a production site. You can easily import and export these changes between the systems.
