Change folder/path

Post by rulez22 »

For some reason I want to change folder name with PHP-Residence. Right now it is www.mywebsite.com/php-residence
What do I need to do - can I simply rename folder php-residence in to something else?
Thank you.

Marco, can you confirm that?
No need to change anything in PHP files or database?
Just rename php-residence directory?

Hi,

I stupidly set up the hoteldruid (2.0.3) to www.mywebsite.com/booking/hoteldruid
Is there any way to change that to www.mywebsite.com/hoteldruid
Thank you.
Gracias.

You should ask your hosting support for this question.

Hi Marco,

I'm hosting our websites. But my question is if there is any way with Hoteldruid to tell the database what the new folder is.

Cheers

The database does'nt know where the folder is, it's the files in the folder that need to know how to reach the database. As said before you can rename the folder as you like as long as you keep the right permissions.
