I don't see why not. If not, just code a file in php that does what you want, place it on the server, and have your accountant call it when needed.

rulez22, No I have not bought the server package. Although I haven't contributed financially I am trying to contribute by writing small sections of howto's for different things, and by answering orther user's questions to perhaps keep Marco from needing to reply to some of them. As far as my system ...

I have done some more on this, and it seems that it's the cc function which isn't functioning. As soon as I unclicked the "send copy to" checkbox it works again. Marco, can you tell me which lines of code call the cc feature in which file so I can ask my host why it won't work correctly? T...

I understand, but I wonder if there's another way around it. I have made up a second availability template showing the number of rooms of each type available which staff use to check what is available. That might work for you as well, depending how you will use that screen. I should point out that w...

Hi CK,

Might actually turn out to be interesting....but, and there's always a but, when I log in your ads cover about 60% of my screen and I can't scroll down to see what your program actually does. Is there any way to fix this?

Thanks

Jim

Arielgrin, I understand what you're trying to do. But to me the principal benefit of the program is the online reservation feature which is implemented through the templates. My experience is that once you are using the program daily you won't look at that screen any more than once a week. So, to me...

Email won't work with my docs - works with samples HELP,

Please help! I have created a number of documents and was using them with no problems. Suddenly, the sample documents still work, but the ones I created do not work, they simply won't send at all. When I compare the documents themselves I cannot find any significant differences that wouold cause thi...

I guess that's what I'm trying to explain, if you aren't even to the stage of building the tempolates, you don't "need' to fix it yet! No?

My experience as a frustrated user is that you are almost right, however, deaaling with updates in the LAMP stack and PHP is enough to keep anyone crazy. Adding the complexities of continuous updates and security holes in Joomla and Drupal is just too much...... Those people who are doing it, or try...

arielgrin, If you think of the line as being noon on the day in question, you will realize that Marco has made a more exact representation of the time a customer inhabits a unit than we normally think about. He shows a customer arriving on the 2nd and departing the 4th as having the unit from 12 noo...
