Thanks Frank - I'm not sure what the .htaccess is - but in the end I resolved the problem by once more following the update instructions - except that I didn't try and change permissions using Filezilla.
I think that my server is highly sensitive to anything that happens outside the Hotel residence ...

Immediately, I want to use your hosting option for the HotelDruid system and continue to use my existing hosting for the static pages.

But within the next couple of months I want to redesign the site for Wordpress when my hosting contract requires renewal.

I have just updated to 2.2.1.
Everything appeared to go as in the past. Except I changed file permissions to 777.
However when I attempted to access "availability_tpl.php" I received a "500 internal server Error"
So, I attempted to use the BackUp file I created before updating and received an error ...

Jim, I noticed this to - but when you then go into the Clienti screen, the first and last name are entered. Basically a truncated (if necessary)surname is used on the Bookings report - so I think that's what you see.

Alex, in the config and customise page, at the bottom you will see the table with sample documents in Italian, Spanish and English. The "Document No" is in fact a link and opens an editing page. You can use this to create HTML, RTF, or an e-mail. Each alteration needs that you click save or action ...
