can you explain the interest of the option "Predefined apartments combinations"?
If I call "grand apartment" the combinaisson 2 apartments (A and B) 2 persons each is what I can automatically assign 4 people to "grand apartment" and it automatically in the apartment 2 A and 2 in apartment B?

no this option is only equivalent to inserting those 2 apartments in the "apartments list" when you insert a reservation. What you ask is now possible with version 2.2 by selecting multiple apartments with assignment rule n. 2.
