No answer on question

In a previous post, I asked if the previous version could be updated to version 2, but no reply.
I do understand you rather want to sell hosting with the extra features than spending time on an open source project. But please realize, publishing this also creates some responsibilities, no matter how big or small.
I don not want to host at a 3rd party, but do my own hosting. Nevertheless, I do need a bit of support every now and then.
Is there maybe another way of getting the support I need:
- You could charge for the software, including the extensions as a "1 time fee"
- There could be a yearly (small) contribution for "timely" support (maybe within 1 or 2 days)
