no alert when choosing more people then resource can hold

Found out then when i set the max. users for a resource at 4 it doesn't give a message when looking for availability for that resource and 5 people.

What do you mean with resource? Have you Have you tried following the setup explained in the "basic configuration" tutorial?

with resource i ment appartment. Also followed the setup.

i have filled the Maximum capacity under apartments for some apartements to 4 and for others to 6.

But if i select an apartment where the maximum capacity is 4 and check avaiability for 6 persons it displays availability for the apartment.

If i select 7 people it will give the message: The number of people is bigger than the maximum capacity of requested type.

I don't have a pulldown menu as the demo page has. (using version 1.1)

Probably you need to set up the assignment rule 2 as explained in the tutorial.
